Omar Khalifa is a British writer, director and former journalist who cut his teeth in tv news and programmes under Oscar and Emmy- award-winning producers.
Commercial work includes content for clients such as Puma, Vodafone, Chevrolet and Qatar Airways, and his recent award-winning narrative work includes a Hermes Platinum for Viking short, 'The Landing' (2020), and New York Festivals Gold and Cannes Corporate Gold (2019) for short INTERPOL drama, 'Aqila'.
As co-founder of Qatar-based production company The Film House, credits include producing various short films, including Heat (2018), now in development by Skybound Entertainment for Amazon Prime, and Qatar-based episodes of TV series, McMafia (BBC, 2018).
Currently writing short films, tv series and developing his second piece of children's fiction.
